What's in the Aquifer
The Aquifer brings together trustworthy Bibles and Bible resources from respected publishers, translated into the gateway languages the global church uses most. All of it is free to use, with no licensing fees.

Data that connects it all
Beyond the resources themselves, the Aquifer provides open data that links them together, word by word, back to the original Hebrew and Greek.
Bible Alignments
Word-level links from each translation back to the Hebrew and Greek, so apps can show exactly which original word stands behind each translated word, including idioms and implied words.
ACAI
Annotations of the people, places, deities, groups, animals, plants, objects, and key terms named in the original-language text, with descriptions and the relationships between them.
Lexical Alignments
Hebrew and Greek words linked to their entries in the UBS Dictionary of Biblical Hebrew and the UBS Dictionary of the Greek New Testament for in-context lookup.
Because these datasets share the same word-level identifiers, they work together: a translated word can lead to the Hebrew or Greek behind it, the person or place it names, and its dictionary entry. Explore ACAI and the alignment documentation on GitHub.
